When it comes to extreme marketing stunts Elon Musk's baby, Tesla, takes the cake.
We have seen the company go bananas on heavily strategized marketing campaigns.
Elon has sent his personal roadster to a trip around the solar system and is now making Tesla focus on colonizing Mars.
What is he doing right? Pretty much everything, but there is a huge exploitable area where is focusing his almost neverending resources: The martian marketšŸ‘½ .. ha, just kidding, I'm talking about social media. His main channel is Twitter and he dominates it with his personal account. With a massive following that now almost reaches the 30 Million.

He not only markets his brand the right way but does it my favorite way: trolling. He makes fun of his competition, keeps his audience engaged and most importantly: he always goes back to Tesla.

Tesla recently launched his brand new, super technologized, toaster-looking, Cybertruck.
I will love the design, eventually. Stats-wise it is awesome, 0-60 in less than 3 secs., a crapload of mileage and fast charging. On its demonstration, Musk made Tesla designer Franz von Holzhausen throw a steel ball to the truck's window to demonstrate that it was unbreakable. Long story short: it is breakable and it broke. The window cracked in a spider web shape that can be seen from his vehicle cruising space.

Musk later explained that the glass broke because, prior to that event, he was beating the crap out of the truck's door with a sledgehammer to show how resistant the frame was, this slightly damaged the structure of the window.
To summarize: If no one hammers your door before throwing a steel ball at your window, then you are super safe inside of the cabin.
Was this a marketing stunt as well? was the accident real? Is Testa planning to sell steel balls?
Unless you are a cyber burglar, we do not really care about the answers.
The cybertruck is here (you can pre-order yours with $100), Musk still tweets and Tesla stocks are... well, Musk still tweets.
