That is my marketing train impression. Future of marketing on an old fashioned way of transportation? Nostalgia plays a huge roll in the consumer's mind, deal with it.
This year is ending, and most trend experts are still making educated guesses about how the new stuff is going to be amazing and change the game forever. Let's go ahead and let them keep making 💩 assumptions, we move forward with what we know works and delivers 👉.
There are now and not-so-new methods of helping grow your clientele. 99% of you already have access to this info and opportunities but are not using it!
So, here I go, to give you that little kick in the 🍑 and get you started. As always, you are welcome.

Personalization to the max

I'm not only talking about the shoes with your names on them...
Thanks to CX you have now the ability to design your customer experience with your brand. As soon as someone steps into your store, the clock starts the countdown. Everything that happens around your potential client is on you, their experience will dictate whether they will buy your goodies or go next-door. In order to create an environment that pleases aesthetically your peeps, you are going to have to get to know them: time to get the numbers!

Process Data

Each online user produces thousands of bites of measurable information per minute. That amount is growing as the online Gods find new ways to get data from their audiences. It is then translated to analytics, learning to read these numbers is a real gamechanger. Things like at what time people tend to purchase certain products, what age range is more likely to pay more for delivery, you get the point. Reading this data and evolving your methods is crucial if you are going to want to keep your clients happy. Where do I get these goodie numbers you ask? chances are, you already have access to all of this, Wordpress, Shopify and pretty much whatever system you use, has a dashboard specially designed to give you some of these numbers. On top of that, you can sign up to Google Analytics, add a snippet to your site and get even more info. Win-win, win, win, win.

Partnerships

You know that saying "two heads think better than one"? well, imagine two marketing groups!
Go-Pro and Red Bull, Taco Bell and Doritos, Starbucks and Spotify, Ben and Jerrys..just kidding Ben & Jerry were besties from the very beginning and came up with the most amazing ice cream on the planet. Anyways, back to the juice!
This not-so-new concept is not only for huge brands but for mom-n-pops as well. It is a matter of give-and-take and it might not be suitable for business with ego-complex. You, as a business will always have to forfeit something that the other part wants in order to get to what you want from them.  In the end, you both win because, ultimately, have double the resources and marketing force working towards a common goal. Cross launching marketing campaigns require full in-sync.

Keep an Offline eye

It is all great, nice pictures, you are pretty active and online guests love your content. Time to get down from the cloud and do some good ol' fashioned socializing. Get to know your new customers, pamper the regular ones and get out of your store, make connections and network locally. You can, of course, get a bunch of influencers to do it for you, but let's be honest, NO ONE will advertise your goodies as good as you. I know you know that I know that the online business is mostly a complement to what you do and sell, or offer. so, time to dust off that neon windbreaker (if you are in Miami) and go show off your business to the world.
